The Weekend

I am part of the holy nation, and I am blessed (Ps. 33:12).

As I sit here looking at a huge pile of clothes that I wish would magically fold themselves I decided why not procrastinate even more and write a blog post. This blog was first setup for my photography business but since I no longer shoot. I have decided to change it to focus around my passions which are God, my kiddos and natural and holistic living. Hello world I am a mom of four and I am currently homeschooling three of them. Although it is trying at times I would not have things any other way. Although we go all year round with breaks built in Summer is still setup different and more relaxed. I thought it would be hard  but I learned to make it my own while staying within the guidelines set by the state. I have read tons of books and at one point before the birth of my twins and a little after I worked in the school system with special education. This adventure is much more different then when I worked in the school system lol.  This Saturday has been slow but productive. The last thing on my to do list was the clothes and you see where I am on that lol but at least they are clean. Folding is something that I will tackle on another day. I even managed to sprinkle a little fun in for the kids today. For dinner I assisted them in making their own pizza! I may be bias but it was the best pizza I have tasted in a while ( and I do mean taste because I had a bowl of veggies myself. I’m still getting use to cleaning up my eating habits. I look at all the YouTube videos I can on the healthy living and I am reading all the books I can put my hands on. I am easing my kids into this healthy thing slowing too.  I would like to report that they are currently not mad at the idea, but they are not fully embracing it either. Welp I will say that this post is rather short but the melatonin is kicking in and I still need to read my Bible before I lay it down. If you have gotten this far thank you and I hope you come back to visit. I hope you know how awesome you are and I pray nothing but blessings for you…..💫

Recently, one of my sons came to me with a real question: “Mom, how can I keep my hair from falling out? Dad’s already bald at 45.” That sparked a conversation—not just about his hair, but about hair health in general . And the truth is, it’s something a lot of us think about, whether you’re a man or woman. Hair loss, thinning edges, breakage, and scalp issues affect us all. While everyone’s journey is different, there ar...
